... secured but for a very long expedition I knew some of my men may be wary to take. I stepped up and gave them whatever assurance I could, and before we all knew it were crossing leagues of ocean. Docking on a set of islands briefly for which the crew of the ship seemed to know only a little about. The men of the island seemed to know even less about us. However, discovery was not a goal of our fleet and we set off once more, headed for the Strait ...

... were in the rich area of town and doing the usual job of tourists- i.e. wandering around and gawping. The city is mad, and the driving is, and I never thought I would say this, even worse than Italy! The zebra crossings are entirely ignored, and they only stop when you are actually in front of them. Lanes, traffic lights and speed limits all seem to be taken as suggestions rather than law. There are millions of buzzing mopeds, ...

... Park, one of the best parks in Guangzhou, so another metro ride. Parks are free here! Unlike Beijing. I like that. It was such a big park and I spent a few hours wandering around - climbing up and down the hills and walking around the lakes. Very green, lots of flowers, birds singing, very pretty. There was even a theme park/fair, super random.
The park is huge, and it's a shame I couldn't find the Five Ram Sculpture that I wanted to see (Guangzhou is called the City ...
