... doesn't fit you and you look even better! Remember, if it doesnt look like its been sitting in the sun for 20 years, YOU CANT WEAR IT!
If you don't have the perm, (mostly if your a guy), then you have outrageous hair!! Especially popular is shaving the sides, and waxing your hair up and over it, kinda like a greasy bowl cut that sticks out over the shaved sides like ...
... maybe Canada. He worked for a guy but the guy stole his recipes and Eddie left. Then he came back and opened "The real Eddies" Not sure if all that is correct but hopefully it is close. I guess there is another restaurant in Kai fa qu called "Eddies" Anyway, he serves western food and has a delicious bakery. I had some of the chocolate chip cookies. They were tasty.
Again, back to the story, we went to ...
... it is still hot for him. Oh well, I just continue to smile when people talk about how hot it is. I know they would laugh at me when I start complaining about the cold.
On one cool morning I was totally amazed as I went to school. It was so clear!! I could clearly see the mountains around Kai fa qu and thought, I need to get out and take some pictures. But, I had to work. Bummer! So as soon as work was over I headed straight to the apartment and borrowed Jason’s ...

Offloading the books (which still haven't arrived in Jinan 2 weeks later, I might add) took up a fair bit of time because I am out of writing practice so it took me ages to write my address in Chinese. This meant that I had to catch a taxi to the airport bus stop, instead of a bus, to save time. This ended up being rather ironic, since my flight was delayed by an hour. The flight stopped in ...
... come up with the most accurate adjectives... like a little kids room, meets misprinted fabrics, meets dim lighting and an attempt at cozy. We stepped in and I howled with laughter.
On the two little cots that were side by side, lay little cotton pjs, which we changed into and waited for our masseuse. When the gentlemen came in, they introduced themselves and started by placing warm pillows on our stomachs and ...

All the places around us were closing, so we felt relieved and accomplished that we were getting the shirts. We had to open each one individually, because many of the first ones he gave us were navy blue, not black, so we had to keep a close eye on him.

But, to accurately demonstrate the era we were teaching—The Stock Market Crash of '29—suddenly the stocks started to drop, and of course the banker recalls all the loans... Still more frantic trading and the prices keep falling. The game ends when stocks are worthless, people have been cleaned out by the bank, and thus the discussion begins.

We were trying to organize our frequent user cards that will allow us to scan ourselves on and off the light rail system. The stop is about 10mins from our hotel, and it is 30mins to Jinjitan (or Manjitan, same place) where the highschool is located. From there, it is still another 10-15min walk to the school. Kaifaqu, China aszliross... not uncommon to get squeezed between a trolley and a bus going opposite direction not more than a few feet apart. Taxis are everywhere, very rare to have to wait more than 60 seconds on any street for an open cab. Cabbies are aggressive and cranky. They don't seem to mind waiting at the curb for as long as it takes to get all things packed and everyone seated, or to count change when the fare is over, but once they pull out into ...
Dalian, China nietsreuef... Dalian, luckly I had only 1 day in Dalian as when I got there it took me about and hour to do all the things there were to do, I must say it's the worst place I've been in China! It's ment to be a bustling city, but i saw nothing of that, i found my self jumping from coffee shop to coffee shop to pass the time until my train. In fact it was that bad that I'm not gonna say owt else about the city other than I was glad to be in my bed on the train in the night! Rach xx
