Six hundred fifty years later, a cross was carved and erected on the site to commemorate Patrick's visit in 450 A.D. The original cross is now in the museum under the Hall of the Vicars Choral. It's kind of stubby and wind-eroded, but it's pretty amazing that it still exists.

We then strolled through the Stone garden where the witches lived and other fiery creatures. Time was up and the gates were closing so we were off once again, this time to find a place for dinner.
