Donc les autorites chinoises ne peuvent pas surveiller les sites auxquels j'accede... Hehe pas cons ces hackers... En gros, les Sechouanais vont toute prononce d'en avant, et vont faire beaucoup (et je dis beaucoup) moins
de distinctions entre leur phonemes. En fait ils en ont moins. Ce qui
pose un gros probleme considerant que le mandarin c'est du bonyeu de
chinois. Non j'allais pas dire une phrase compliquee.

... pretty much our day done but it ended with the most amazing meal...Hot pot! Basically a huge pot of both boiling and spicy sauce where you throw uncooked food in to cook it!! We went with a half and half: one side medium spicy and for the slightly more terrified a none spice section! Whilst you couldn't constantly eat from the spicy side it was a lot more tasty than the none spice side so you put up with the burn to just keep eating!! Just soo good!

... already enjoying milk sponges and just chewing on them while lounging on their backs. They looked so humanlike. We approached them carefully as the trainers let us not only pet them but play with them. They surrounded us and let us touch their ears and neck while we fed them bamboo. A few times they caught onto Rachel's clothes while reaching for food. They were adorable and extremely friendly. Thankfully these pandas didn't try any kung fu moves on us - we'll leave that to Jack Black.

Last week, a friend of a friend made friends with a multimillionaire at the airport (millions of kuai, which is still quite a lot in China). He is 23, came from nothing, and now owns a baijiu factory (Chinese liquor) and several liquor stores. He invited us to come with him to his hometown to celebrate the national holiday.

... town wasn't all bad, it just lacked the authenticity of Pingyao or the extensive restoration efforts of Lijiang. One thing I will say in it's favour - it has some really good hotels. Old family courtyard buildings, these have been spared the poor attempts at reconstruction, and still retain a considerable amount of character. What with the lack of anything happening in the evening and the peaceful surroundings, I got a damn good nights' sleep. So the trip here wasn't entirely a loss!
