... without other tourists. We walked a long section of the wall to what used to be an old fort village guarding a valley river. Here we headed back into Jixian town and, on account of time, found a hotel. In the morning we headed early back to Tianjin with just enough time to move out of my apartment on the last day of my contract.

After one night staying at my friends apartment and through a rainstorm we headed up to Beijing for some sightseeing.
