Will flew back to the UK today for Mrs Wood's funeral (he sadly lost Mrs Woods (his "third" grandmother) and Gloria, his friend Aidan's mother over Easter weekend).

It was a gorgeous day. I have been in Nanjing at the beginning of the week supporting an English teacher in Jinling, and then went to Hangzhou on Thursday to support an English teacher in Hangzhou No 14, Stephen Gardner's centre.

Yesterday was Sports Day for Years 1-5. Due to lack of facilities at the current school, the teachers bussed the kids to a sports stadium. I was told it was close to the school, so got a bit worried when we still hadn't arrived after 30 minutes. Luckily, I had my driver speak to my friend’s driver (hahaha), we got it sorted, and I made it to the grounds (many didn’t). The grounds were pretty spectacular, but the weather was bizarre. ...

... items (comfort food) turned to liquid and had to be thrown away. The oven has a steam outlet and all the steam poured straight into my closed cutlery draw, making the utensil wet and oily. No more fan-forced cooking!
