... express. I was a short week, but it was great to finally show them the place that I've been living (and 'studying') for so long now. Sending photos and sharing stories is simply not the same as showing the real thing. The other party will never be able to fully grasp what sort of life you're leading. Come out onto the street again and finally ask someone - strangely a lot of people don't speak English and they are not as friendly or as well dressed as the gorgeous women in China. ... Chinese cuisine or even sushi but no, we ended up in Starbucks and of all things to eat I had a chicken and mushroom pie! Too tired to shop around we came back to the hotel room and I managed to get some wifi to update you on this day. Now I shall just chill and we will all go for dinner somewhere later and an early night. Tomorrow I hope to meet up with my friend I met on GYLC in 2009 who lives here and works here. Bye for now, Ero Tergum ...

... a bit like a back street of central London, Chinatown/Soho, it's pretty hectic. The hotel itself is pleasant and my original 'mountain view' room was on the 20th floor looking out at what looked like something out of bay route, so I upgraded to a nicer harbor view room (the president suite was already booked out).

I ventured out this afternoon and took a ride on the well know ricity Star Ferry across to the other side of the harbour. The ferry costs 2 HKD which is ...
