Once we visited the monastery we headed to visit the main site which is the Lingyin Si temple. Founded in 326 the temple once housed 3,000 monks in more than 70 different halls. ... to the hostel, grabbed our bags and made the journey to the station by metro instead of the nice relaxed taxi journey we'd been envisioning. We just made it and had the added bonus of having bought first class seats (a bit wider, more leg room and decent armrests) for our short journey back to Ningbo.
