A 10th Anniversary Party
We rented a car in Marathon and jumped in it for a quick trip up to Winston Salem for Jed and Cecilie's 10th anniversary party. We stopped off for the night at Don and Ginny's in Fort Lauderdale to shorten the trip the next day. We were also able to get together with Mike a friend from our overland truck trips.

Another Perfect Day
... Larry had Chicken Calabash and Ribs. I had Parmesan Encrusted Basa (fish). Larry got grits for his side, the rest of us got the cinnamon apples which was like hot apple pie without the crust. It was a very tasty and pleasant meal. We lingered a little afterwards as our time with Doug and Teri was coming to an end. We said good bye in the parking lot and headed back to the Sleep Inn. I wrote the blog, we read and later we plan to try to skype Erin.

Fun with Family
... ago including the last picture Teri ever took of her dad. That started a lot more storytelling and remembering. It was a really enjoyable evening. We got back to the Sleep Inn about 10:30 and then I wrote the blog. We tried to skype Erin but she was in Las Vegas for the weekend and I remembered that she wasn’t flying back to Seattle until late tonight.
Unfortunately, we were having so much fun that we forgot to take pictures this evening.

... blessed to be a part of the Lone Star Circle of Life tour and family, and an honorary Texan, not once but twice - how cool is that? To each and every person, rider, support team, team leader, team photographer and team captain - THANK YOU - your are all the GREATEST!!!
