      We went to Kuta Bali for Sabrine's last day in Southeast Asia, since she had an early flight to Singapore. The traffic to get there was crazy. Bali's roads are unable to service the traffic at peak season. Almost all the traffic jams were made of private cars for tourists. We finally arrived late in the afternoon, to a chaotic resort town. Compared to Gili Air, Lombok and Ubud, Kuta Bali is a crazy mess. I didn't really like it there, but I guess I had to see ...

      ... rest of the day to explore Ubud's main town. In the evening we met up with close family friends of mine from Australia (Debbie and Karl) who are holidaying in Bali. Was great seeing them for good food and cocktails. The following day (16/09) Putu helped us out again and organized a driver for us for the day, he would take us anywhere we wanted. We went to: Bali zoo, rice terraces, Holy Springs Temple (Tirtha) and Rocky Temple (Gunung) ...

      ... 3rd. Wow she won a beer. Later we went out to see if we could knock off any of our shirts that were requested by my friends,we bought two. It was very tiring, we walked along way. In that time buying shirts we managed to have some spring rolls and a drink. For dinner we went to Moo Moo's they had really nice beef ...

      ... but maybe this was better as it was shorter but no less harder. It was definitely harder saying goodbye the second time as it won't be seeing then for at least a year. I'm going to head to New Zealand and South East Asia after Australia, well that's the plan at the moment. Dad walked off to the car as he has tears in his eyes and so does Dan, one last hug from Mum and then I was off to check in.

      ... the last snake we saw in the rice fields and as it was getting late we moved to the last place close to our hotel. this was a river estuary and we were hoping to see the sea krait here but even if we did not get to see this interesting species we managed to sea another two different snakes that brought the species count to 7. the first was dog-faced water snake (cerberus rychops) that was seen for the first time in wild by the Bali Reptile Rescue ...
