Crusaders' fort and lebanese border
The youth hostel near the lightning tower (old Caravansary) is shut down. The old city has two badly run hostels remaining: Gate and Cherry. I don't know about the whereabouts of the new city but from my experience I discourage indiv. low budget travellers to stay over in Akko. I was in Gate and was bitten by bed fleas. Day 1
Today we had breakfast in the hotel and headed over to the yeshiva Ohr Somayach. We learned from 2 rabbis and had a "tutorial" session. Myself and 3 others joined Rabbi Leskin and we began to learn the Aleph Bet which I thought was good since I haven't remembered that since I completed my Bar Mitzvah. I should be back to reading hebrew soon.

I left JFK airport at 1730 on June 20th and flew through Munich and arrived in Tel Aviv around 2pm on the 21st. I took a shuttle van thing to the Jerusalem Gate Hotel and met Joseph and Yudi. Rappelling and not Bar Kochba Caves
After learning as usual we had lunch and left to go reppelling. First we stopped at the hotel so people who didnt have pants could get pants for the visit to the caves later. We got to the reppelling place and repelled. It was about a 50 meter high cliff. Nice views. We spent about 4 hours there. It was ridiculous. I don't why we were there for so …
