... it was about 3oclock when we started walking for it. We stopped on the way at Walgreens picked up some chocs, ice cream and slushies!! Yummy. We took our goodies and made the movies in time! When we bought our tickets the lady serving us told us we couldn't bring our slushed into the movies!! What crud! They wanted us to buy there exapwmcoe slushed and that wasn't going to happen!! We hid around the corner, carefully put the drinks into my bag and went into the cinema! ...
... They are huge complexes with themes. There is an Egyptian themed one complete with a pyramid and the Sphinx. New York New York has the Statue of Liberty as well as a roller coaster and other NY monuments. The Venetian comes complete with a canal, gondolas, the bridge of Sighs and Madame Tussard's Waxworks. The Bellagio has it's famous fountains and the Mirage has a volcano which explodes every 90minutes.

... Before I dropped it off I made sure to ride right down the strip from one end to the other. People were giving me the thumbs up as I rode. It makes you feel like superstar.
Ok, last night tonight and we are going to another show, this time at Planet Hollywood. It's simply called 'The Vegas Show' and has impersonators of all the big names who performed here.. Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones etc, etc. when in Vegas, might as well experience it all.
... through their casino. Tom betted a bit on Roulette and is currently $80 in the positive. Yay! I find casinos stressful honestly. We ate lunch at Hash House A-go-go, and dinner at the Todd English pub. We're about to see Beatles Love show. Finally something I can get into. Looking forward to this! Tom wants to go to Treasure Island casino after. Ugh, I'm hanging in there but I'm just about done with these casinos. Going to try to get out of town tomorrow to go to Red Rock ...
After spending a day out in the suburbs of Vegas and almost walking to the strip we were both very keen to hit the next hotel, which is the Plaza hotel in downtown Vegas opposite the famous Fremont street. We checked out at 11am and couldn't check in until 3pm at the plaza. So after checkout we left our bags for a bit at Crossland and went thrift shopping in a spot down the street a bit.
