The hotel is the centerpiece of Doha's waterfront West Bay business and residential complex, combining the individual elements of a hotel and associated buildings, offices, apartments, townhouse and a marina. If you see it from above it looks like a fortress palace.

... so there was no real culture shock - just more Muslims with full dress and people walking around in typical Arab clothes; there was, however, a mosc just next to the bathroom I found that weird, I thought it would be disrespectful putting a place of worship next to the toilets :S apparently not. Well I think that's about it so far, we are nearly ready to taxi out and so far there is no one next to me ... Winner ...
