Today we drove through the center of the park. We did a short trail walk in the afternoon and then headed to Clingman's dome (6643ft high) for sunset - around 5:30. There were snow banks on the sides of the road as we drove up to Clingman's dome trailhead. At times along the way, you would see little snowmen that people would have built. We broke into two teams for the challenge: Heidi/Heather/and one of their friends, and myself/Martin on the other team. You had to not only make it all the way through the maze to the other end, but also find the letters M, A, Z, and E (not necessarily in that order).
