... the pork and rice, it had an Asian taste. The fondue was Swiss cheese with tomatoes in a ceramic bowl over a small flame, with a bowl of little new potatoes to share. You pour some of the cheese fondue over your potatoes and eat them like that. It was yummy, but you couldn't eat a lot of it. Then dessert was a slice of ice cream, white with the strawberry part as a Swiss flag. Time to pack our bags for tomorrow, as we will be having breakfast at 6.30, and on the track by ...

... trains and went down to Lauterbrunnen to change out of the ski boots and I was to catch the train an hour later and meet Ruth in Wengen. I managed to take a number of lifts but was cutting it fine for the train so I skied down to the railway station above the Innerwengen chair lift and only caught the train for the last bit.

... main course - presented by Carla another of the old staff, but one who I didn't realise was still there, and she didn't know I was in the dining room! A quick catch up and we were back on track for the food! Boiling broth in the middle of the table, we were presented with raw meats (chicken, pork, beef and prawns) to cook.... We walked through the village to the train station. I did have a quick stop to look at fresh snow and saw snowflakes!!
