... Tony decided to get into the passenger side of the car to drive! HA!

I have never had an easier airport transition. It was as if the airport fairies were looking over us and giving back for the major delay in London on our arrival. The car drop off went seamlessly, we brought out baggage to the 'oh so wonderfully happy - and I mean it -' Easy Jetters, and then off through security.

The rest of the day was doing more relaxing and having dinner at the hotel. We tried some raclette, which is melted cheese served with boiled little potatoes, peal onions and sliced dill pickles. Sounds wierd, but it is really good! Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be rainy, so we shall see what that means for activities as it might be a day to do more reading!

... fresh snow. The photos and films doesn’t give it justice. We passed through a lot of tunnels and the last tunnel which was the biggest was hand dug by Italians starting in 1896 and was opened in 1912.

... train to Murren. We wandered around Murren and then took a funicular to Allmendhubel, a perch with a wonderful view that rivals the Schilthorn. There was a children's playground that the kids loved. The views were spectacular!

... This was not a problem on the first day when we did it but it was now back in cloud and impossible to see any detail of the snow on the run. We completed it by 'feel' with both of us getting down and then off to the Wixi chair without incident.
The top of the Lauberhorn run was set as a slalom, which we did, before heading off across the rolling run towards the Hundschopf. However, the cloud was quite thick so we could only see one piste marker at ...
