The people are exceptionally friendly and are more than happy to speak English to give you the best service possible, and they did appreciate it when I had a go at speaking their weird Swiss German back to them. One checkout operator warned me that 'this water has gas' so I could grab a non-sparkling bottle! There is no crime in Lauterbrunnen, and the police there are basically only used to enforce the VERY strict 10pm noise curfew in the valley. Our cabin doors didn't have locks ...

... had to check out while I was here. The trail looked pretty steep and scetchy so I just hit it full tilt. Another 40 min hike halved by having a go. I was thinking the whole time that I didn't have time for this .. I wasn't even sure now far it was. Well I got there and I was pretty stoked to see this waterfall hidden away that you could walk right under and still see the snow covered Jungfrau! Plenty of photos and back on the jog to get down ...
