... each gave short speeches to thank us for the work we’d done throughout the year, and gave each of the teachers who are leaving a small present and a card. Then we were each invited to say something ourselves, before moving onto KTV.

We had a really great room in the KTV place and had a great couple of hours belting out a load of songs :o) I mostly hung out with Tom and Soph, who will be staying in Shanghai; but not with Shane.

... light supper in my hostel, finished my packing, had a shower and read for a while, before turning in for the night.

I left the next morning at 7 am as my flight back to London was at 11 am. Went to the airport on the MAGLEV – which I used when I arrived. It only seemed like yesterday since I landed in China and here I was, still in one piece, making my way home.

Got back home at 5 pm GMT after a good flight. Now ...
