... the whole place to ourselves, very romantic. Stopped for breakfast in Monteray about 11am. Fortunately there was a UPS shop right opposite the café so Jack booked a hostel for that night in Oakland and printed off directions of how to get there while I sat in the car (because we were over our hour limit). Continued our drive along the coast. Stopped at one particularly gorgeous beach (can't remember the name of it). We parked the car and walked down a very steep path to ...

After this we went back to our hotel for about half an hour to recharge our batteries. Then it was onto Little ...

Great place, very popular I would say as once again we had to wait for a table (short wait) and the place was busy. I cannot get over the menu with steak and chips/onion rings (!!) but we went for something more traditional - ...

Slept through until 6am today which was pretty late considering my previous wake up times. Had a delightful freezing cold shower which was apparently on a timer and cut out just before I put my conditioner on (thankfully). Although my crazy frizz hair had been driving me mad all day!! We managed to pack up camp in 10 minutes flat (typical we get good at it just as we are leaving!!) and drove to see the giant sequoia trees ...
