    ... front promenade and let me tell you, it was magnificent. There was so much happening it's like a mini carnival that never leaves. I drove a car for the first time around a racing track whilst my brother drove a mini quad bike around another track!     Getting up I packed up my belongings in the hostel before heading to the local supermarket to pick up some breakfast, but as the bakery was closed I returned only with water & a packet of Spongebob biscuits - have to note their range of characters on biscuits over here is fantastic! The area around our hostel was a bit seedy so I didn't feel particularly safe walking by myself, but was so near to the hostel if there was any issues the would have heard. ...

    ... and shouting to passers by - I heard my hotel name checked on one of his noise drive-bys! It's all going to get much much livlier on my next stop though, as I'm now getting psyched up for CARNAVAL!
