... I put down my 1730BS & got packing for my Amazon trip. There were to be 2 other people in our group so nice & small. I got picked up at 8.30am by mototaxi! Basically this is a moped, the guy took my bag & balanced it in front of him while I perched on the back. Started a morning walk but all we heard, smelt and saw a
pocket handkerchief size bit of were a big herd of peccaries before we turned
back due to heavy rain.
The pm walk produced nothing new, an odd bird or 2 and the
guide made little attempt to try and find anything or explain the plant/bird
life there was – I had to step in a couple of times as otherwise a very boring

Was over by about 2am but was too hyped up to sleep and lay awake most of the night.
Had a post mortem in the temple after breakfast but that didn't help as other than the snakes, my experience/visions weren’t typical.
Threw it down so just chilled in the hammock until the boat came at 1pm.
