... to head off to sleep everyone was everywhere we walked back from a bar were some of us were in to find some in a hammock in the trees by the street lol. Then entering into the hall a few more completely blotto inside, chatting complete gibberish haha! Hilarious end to a hilarious night!! ... town. It is another beautiful old town. It's on a peninsula and the old town is surrounded by stone walls. We had pizza and a couple of beers at a restaurant with a view of the setting sun. One of the pizzas was named Chuck Norris. It came with a roundhouse kick to the taste buds. We then went for a bit more of a walk around the town and then had a beer at a bar with some live music. Caught the bus back at 10.30pm and had a nightcap with some of our crew before ...

... piers. The combination of high water and strong wind had put enormous force on the central cleat to which we had attached a spring before leaving for France. The cleat had been cleanly torn out of the deck. We had in fact already heard about this storm as the Ancona to Split ferry had been caught up in it - all the alcohol bottles in the duty-free shop had cartons of cigarettes jammed around them to stop them from flying about.

... around Old Town... a couple of times. It is very quaint, tons of great views, but pretty small and pretty quiet. We grabbed a fairly generic dinner at a cute restaurant before getting groceries and heading back to our itty bitty apartment for the night.

The next morning, we headed to a travel agency to book a boat for the day, then went to the boulangerie for breakfast. We packed up our beach stuff, and I grabbed an ice ...

... supposed to be sung loudly, not whispered. After checking the calamari they’re eating, we order fried calamari, and Doug & Ursula grilled. Have a couple of bottles of the local Posip wine again, which is quite good. Take some night photos of the town. Tonight both Dianne & Murray sleep in the cockpit as it’s much cooler than inside. Lots of boats in the marina, including some Aussies on charter sailing boats.
