... the afternoon on the island). The monastery is somewhat active and is used for retreats by religious groups throughout the year. The activity we observed today is wind surfing and sailing school classes (lots of young people).

... Polo Museum. We walked through the displays with an audio guide, which was somewhat like an iPod Nano. The display rooms were small, but it was all very well done. Although Marco Polo was born in Venice, he seems to be somewhat of a local hero in Korcula.

Took the bus back and I was so close to being sick AGAIN. People who don’t get motion sick don’t know how lucky they are!
While we were waiting to be picked up in a dingy and taken to our boats some silly drunk Kiwi girls swum through the Marina in pitch black looking for their boats after being strongly advised not to because of sea urchins and anchors.

... we meet not one, but two coaches. Now imagine this, the road is windy and narrow, we meet the bus on a corner with one car ahead of us, the corner is too tight for the bus to get round in one go.s. The car ahead has to back up to make room for the bus to turn and then it squeezes past us once we tuck our rear vision mirror in with centimetres to spare. We go to move on and here comes the next bus so we go through the procedure again. Phew we made it. ...
