... and coffee and the ice tea sure tasted good on a hot day. The order took a LONG time to arrive, but fortunately we still had time to spare.

After lunch we walked back towards the main piazza, which was also the meeting spot, and found one of the group seated there. I went further up the plaza to take more pictures, and when I turned around, the other group members had disappeared.

Today has been a very pleasantly lazy day!
A late breakfast feast, Phil made an omelette and fried potatoes, to go with our fresh bread from the bakery. I had even found a small jar of peanut butter and bought it to surprise him. Very funny because we all ate the omelette while he ate toast and peanut butter with great joy.

As little had come of the rain, we wandered around the city streets, taking in the view and the history, before boarding a bus to head to the smaller settlement of Lumbrada 15 minutes away. Stopping to enjoy our picnic lunch on the first of the 4 beaches we visited, and with the rain clouds still looming, we carried ...

All aboard the Spalato ("Split" in Italian) cruise ship as we embarked on our week long sail along the Southern Dalmatian coastline. What better way can you get a taste of the islands!? And to be honest, we felt this was perfect to have a sample of each different town and decide whether or not we'd like to spend more time there. Besides one or maybe two stops we would return to, the one-night in port at each location was just enough for us. We had ...
