... and headed out the backside of the mall to discover a jazz festival! Though the singer we heard was pretty good, the set in itself was a little bland and we lost interest.
Though we had hoped to go the zoo, we missed the last bus out there, so we headed back to the hotel in defeat. After a few hours recharching and napping, we decided to strike out and the beer festival we had heard so much about. We found it ...
... at a deli in the train station and headed the park we had heard was beautiful.
Sitting patiently and eating our doughnuts and such, we noticed we had several guests. About ten billion pigeons and four or five NASTY, ENORMOUS crows. After trying fervently to kick these pigeons, we noticed we had drawn a crowd of giggling school girls. They were none too subtle about staring at us and ...

De nombreux entreports anciens bordent le canal et le bord de mer. C'est aussi une destination populaire pour son domaine skiable en hiver. On pouvait voir encore de la neige sur les montagnes autour et on visualisait clairement les pistes ...
Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan clemandpo... jumping and rafting. We had a great day on the river, after a recent typhoon the water levels were back up and we enjoyed class 4 and 5 rapids on the 3 hour trip. There were 4 boats in our group, all Japanese people except us, and our guides were from Nepal, Japan and Australia. I didn't fall out of the boat, but Tony and Mac did! Not to worry our team worked together and pulled them back quickly before they got too far away from the boat. The head of the company ...
Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan kateinjapan... walk from the station to the hotel. I didn't want to waste any time in Tokyo we dropped off the bags and went back in Tokyo, not knowing where to go we went for Tokyo station. We had dinner which was reasonable price not any more expensive than the rest of Japan. Then walked around. There was a sumo event that I was hoping to go to the next day involving an early start so we went back to the hotel.
