... to the hotel and everyone got to the room panting. We were gone for about 1.5 hours overall, but not knowing where the end was must have seemed stressful. The day started out with breakfast in the hotel Vanderbilt Grace. The house was originally built by Alfred Vanderbilt for his mistress. Then it was converted to a YMCA for years until it was converted to a Boutique hotel that we stayed at with 33 rooms. We had the same waitress, Laura, that we had yesterday. ... and each wanted $15 to park for the day. As we really only planned on getting some pictures they let us go in for 10 minutes and leave. Several were only open to that particular town and you needed a permit. I'm very glad we have free or minimal parking fee beaches in Florida and I'm really glad ours are not 30-40' beyond a cliff.
