    ... just simple and fresh.
    We are enjoying the autumn colours and the opportunity to be near the water.

    Eleanor 's highlight was dragging us down to queue up to go to the Friends set, Central Perk. We didnt need to line up for 4 hours as on other days, but we arrived at 7:30 AM and was in at 8:00. She loved it and took time to see it all.

    ... which means they haven't changed for millions of years. On the way back to the holiday house we drove past lots of beach houses and they were all a similar style being grey colours and made from shingles. It was very interesting to see Cape Cod. Josie

    ... on the beach. Lots of walking. We then went to Spanky's Crab Shack for a great dinner of seafood stuffed jumbo shrimp and seafood stuffed sole. Another great day - educational. (Ben & Jerry's for dessert.) Tomorrow it is back to Boston for our final stop on this trip. The Freedom Trail and all its sights and "Harvard" University are definitely on the agenda. We will be in Boston until Wed when we fly back home. ...

    ... This meant we would have to use the motor. The key was to make sure we made it through Woods Hole on time. Woods Hole is the trickiest passageway on the way to the Vineyard because of the tides. It is a fairly narrow passageway and when we crossed "the hole" there was quite a lot of traffic. As we approached the Vineyard, the most visible sailboat was the Black Dog schooner.
