Good location for stopover. On site parking, just 5 kms from Lleida. You need a car because you are rural here. A little hard to find. GPS does not register address. Friendly manager.

Today, I've picked up my car at Hertz in L'illa shopping area. There are only one person at the booth and there were 3 people in front of me. Took him about 45 minutes to handle all of them, I'm glad I had my phone with me to kill time. I was quite nervous for this day, since I've reserved a manual car ( For those who doesn't know, it is majority manual cars in Europe, I think 90%+).

After signing all paper work, he told me that since I've under 25, I had to pay a fee, ...

... northern route, instead of the major southern route, to head towards Pamplona. We were now in the Pyrenees region. We arrived in Jaca around 6:30 pm for a break spent about half an hour walking around the central part of the town. We drove about 480 km in total and got into Puente de Reina at 8:45 pm. I had booked 3 nights at a small hotel called El Cerco within the medieval town. The host, Alfonso, was very helpful and explained how to ...

... sunbaking going on. It would not have taken long to burn. Then we changed direction and went inland through interesting rocky hills and a countryside of vineyards, fruit growing and perhaps fields of wheat or barley. The corn plants were an amazing rich green colour. It did strike us how the soil looked poor yet there was an abundance of food production happening. Well, the irrigation system is quite a feat and we were to travel past ...

      Goodbye Barcelona

... an awesome experience. We stood in amasement in front of the portrait of LIncoln and quite a few other of his paintings. All the stress of the narrow alleys long forgotten. From there we took the road to Cadaceus and had a little something to eat st a restaurant. I had couchettes and MAuritz had squid. Not at all impressive , at least not for the prize we had to pay. On our way back to the camper ...
