Good location for stopover. On site parking, just 5 kms from Lleida. You need a car because you are rural here. A little hard to find. GPS does not register address. Friendly manager.

2nd challenge, Getting onto the Freeway. After the parking lot incident, I was too nervous to drive on the main street, so I decided to stay in the alley way alone the main street to avoid blocking traffic big time. I think it would only take me about 15 minutes on the ...

... 00, an hour earlier than we thought we would be. The Pocket Earth app came in handy and we used it as our GPS. As I wrote on an earlier blog, by using this app whatever maps will be needed can be downloaded either before your trip or using wifi along the way so that you don't have to use precious data. We were heading to Monserrat which was about 40 minutes from Barcelona. It's an awesome view as you approach Montserrat - a gorgeous ...

We travelled to Lleida (said as yea-da), from Barcelona on a three hour plus regional express train. It was great. We both like travelling by train. Both of us get to see the landscape and it seems to be less tiring than a bus ride. Of course that is as long as the trains are not on strike! But this is Spain, not France! The route took us down along the coast first, passing seaside resorts and towns. It was a hot day and there was quite a ...

    Goodbye Barcelona

... did not have to make use of the taxi as we were able to get on the shuttle form Camping Barcelona. Within a hour mauritz's stuff was unpacked and we hit the road to Figueres. The GPS lady took us through all the narrow and small roads. In Figueres we we were going around in circles through very narrow streets - once again- looking for a parking spot. We found a very nice one and just as MAuritz ...
