Good location for stopover. On site parking, just 5 kms from Lleida. You need a car because you are rural here. A little hard to find. GPS does not register address. Friendly manager.

... of 14 euro a day plus I should also upgrade my car to a diesel car for only 5 euro extra a day. Since diesel is about 20 cents cheaper per liter in Spain and if I drive more then 300 km a day, it would be worth it (also it is a better car).

I've end up getting a Peugeot 208, it is still a pretty weak car (engine). The counter person gave me a ticket for exiting the parking lot, he told me if I use this I would not have to pay when exiting the parking lot. The car ...

... the monastery right near the top. There is the monastery, museum, funicular and many hiking trails. There are different ways to get up to the monastery - drive, take the train or take the gondola. Since we had the car we drove up. It costs 6 euro to park up at the monastery. We ended up spending over 3 hours at Montserrat and, if we hadn't had such a long drive ahead of us, we would have easily spent another 2 or 3 hours there. We ...

... Segue, a small village. That was a challenge! We ate very delicious pizza, empanada and pastry at Sant Miquel Pastisseria. Yumm.. We walked through the town to Casa Mauri with its lovely garden and mosaics and back along the lake.
The most entertaining time was sitting in a sort of bar, to keep cool, watching the local men play cards. Four played, four stood or sat watching-, but 6-7 of them all talked, very loudly at the same ...

... water, red bull, fake powerade and San Miguel. It's about the best decision I've ever made as there wasn't a shop in sight when I got here, and they wouldn't have been open anyway if there had been. It's amazing what some proper food (there's only so much haribo, cereal bar and grapes you can eat) and an extra bit of drink can do. Also impending darkness certainly helps the climbing legs! I only saw one temp reading during the day, it ...

    Goodbye Barcelona

... did not have to make use of the taxi as we were able to get on the shuttle form Camping Barcelona. Within a hour mauritz's stuff was unpacked and we hit the road to Figueres. The GPS lady took us through all the narrow and small roads. In Figueres we we were going around in circles through very narrow streets - once again- looking for a parking spot. We found a very nice one and just as MAuritz ...
