Good location for stopover. On site parking, just 5 kms from Lleida. You need a car because you are rural here. A little hard to find. GPS does not register address. Friendly manager.

I've end up getting a Peugeot 208, it is still a pretty weak car (engine). The counter person gave me a ticket for exiting the parking lot, he told me if I use this I would not have to pay when exiting the parking lot. The car ...

... to see which was the closest stop to the car rental place. Not being familiar with the busses, we thought we would just take a taxi from the train stop to the rental agency. But when we got off the train, there was a bus waiting and once I showed the bus driver where we were going he indicated his bus would take us to the connection we needed. When we got to the stop he told us which bus we needed to take. Once on this second bus we ...

Then we changed direction and went inland through interesting rocky hills and a countryside of vineyards, fruit growing and perhaps fields of wheat or barley. The corn plants were an amazing rich green colour. It did strike us how the soil looked poor yet there was an abundance of food production happening. Well, the irrigation system is quite a feat and we were to travel past ...

I act as guide and took MAuritz to all the main Gaudi sites, but only after we visited the PIcasso Museum. Quite an eye opener in itself. He went through so many different "phases" At the start of his carreer uhe painted quite ordinary portraits and lots of landscaping - then at the end quite ...
