Lots of homeless people approaching you asking for money and the pickpocket warnings are everywhere. Staying in the one place for 5 days I thought I would have an opportunity to gym, but they literally don't exist in this city. Its so backward and different to Australia. Today was the day we bummed around Paris. The day started with a trip up the Eiffel Tower. Pretty impressive view of a city with mostly 4 story buildings from about 300 meters up. Downside: super crowded, lines everywhere in the tower to get up to the top.

... the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc De Triumph punctuated with visits to characterful restaurants and cafes. Before we left, we visited the Pont de Arts bridge and left an inscribed padlock that we had been carrying throughout our trip. A fitting end to a wonderful journey.

Another new experience for us both, the Eurostar back to London, arriving in the ...
