Monday 9th June

At the organic aloe vera farm we visited, it was demonstrated how just a few outer leaves of this desert lily plant (not cactus) are cut ...

Next was a Turkish airlines flight via Istanbul to Beijing. Transit in Istanbul a bit frantic, the airport is enormous and the lines long, but eventually got to the boarding gate and off we were on the long overnight flight to Beijing
