... the rocks and they felt fuzzy and soft, like velvet. Once the tide comes back in, all this will be submerged under the ocean again and the cliffs only visible from a distance or from the water on a boat. We felt lucky to see them today and enjoy their beauty. After our walk we went to the Galley café where we watched a para-glider take off from the cliffs and sail through the air above the ocean. We drank ...

... rock formations or dolphins, and go out fishing. Old town still has some of the very old, like 15th century, walls and an old military fort that guards the harbor. We're staying in a beautiful resort apartment in a complex called Baia ...

We headed over to the beach so we could find a supermarket and some provisions, but by the time we were returning the wind had vastly increased. This was the wrong moment for our little electric outboard to die and we found ...

... than just being really really sweet.

The next morning (Monday 8/4) we had enough time after breakfast to take a walk down to the beach at our hotel. It's a gorgeous beach - very clean and wide with tropical blue water and no waves; it looks more like a lake. You can rent these water pedal contraptions that look like a car and have rather large slides stuck on top of them; our kids would have gone bonkers for those things! There is a cute little cafe overlooking the beach, so ...
