What a beautiful day. A few clouds but warm and sunny. We went and sat on the beach next to the sand dunes and relaxed and read a little. Portugal, last summer holiday!
... as it took us a decent hour just to walk around the whole thing. Lots of old cannons still in their spots from years ago and some blow holes in the middle which was good fun to stand over. This school put Portugal on the map as an exploration and naval powerhouse. The school was built on what people at the time thought was the end of the flat earth. I can see why.
