So just to give you a general idea of what Lamu is like. The main road runs through a wall of buildings and is about 2 metres wide, when donkeys are walking through you have to squeeze up against the wall. The sea front is a lot wider and where you occasionally spot a vehicle. What a great week this was. Lamu is a little island off the North-East Coast of Kenya. Old Muslim-Swahili trading place, with tiny little alleyways winding through the tall coral buildings.
