We have enjoyed our stay at Mistletoe State Park for the last 5 days. The park is about 50 miles from Augusta, Ga and is on the Clarks Hill Lake. This lake is the start of the Savannah River and is a very popular place to fish.

On Saturday we volunteered to help cleanup the trails of the park. There were a lot of volunteers and even some Army men and women who are stationed nearby. We enjoyed our ...

Since we left early, we circled around Ft. Myers Beach, FL for 3 weeks awaiting our nephew & his now fiancÚ to join us for their Spring Break/St. Patricks Day. What an awesome time!!

As we didn't want to stay too long in Florence we take the I-20 to Columbus and then the US-378 to McCormick. We find a good spot to stay: the Savanna Lakes Resort and Marina. ... paper rolls on the table. The rolls are in decorative boxes. It works.

I will not miss the Asian bathrooms. Squat toilets are difficult. There is no way to flush most of them. Many have a large barrel of water next to the toilet with a container for dipping the water out. I was at a loss here. Throwing toilet paper in the waste basket takes some adjustment in thinking. The showers are sometimes a showerhead on the wall and a drain ...
