    So after departing sunny Ringgold, we began the first proper road-leg of our tour. This one began by retracing our steps back to Atlanta, before setting off North East towards the mountains.     ... 1966. I was in my last year at Exeter High School, and we lived on Deerhill Road in Brentwood. Every Sunday we would hear the dragsters roar down the strip. I only went a couple of times back then; the funny cars were the best. The New England Dragway is the only 1/4 mile drag strip in New England, although they don't actually race that distance anymore. I'm just a wealth of known-essential info.

    ... Cove Tennessee with Randy and Sherry. (Additional Blog with pictures will come soon.) The pictures with this entry were taken on the way up and while here.

    Spent Thanksgiving here. On Thanksgiving day we ate a buffet at Western Sizzler with 18 workers etc. from the campground, then on saturday the campground provided turkeys and everyone brought covered dishes and we all ate at the clubhouse.

    ... br> The next day, we hit the free coffee and ventured back up the mountain. It was a little hotter today, which was nice, but the rock got pretty toasty. We started on the same side as the day before and it was empty! It was wonderful. I taught Zev how to set up a top rope anchor the day before, so this time he did it and I watched.
