      This trip was just to get away, unwind and relax. Came back here to see the friends we made last year. Been playin cards, the girls have done a couple puzzles etc... Went to Blue ridge to the Blue Ridge Community Theater and watched a play "Miracle on 34th Street". Was very entertaining.       ... but eventually we found "The Slab Wall." To get to it we had to head down the "obvious gully." Obvious it was. There was knotted ropes tied to the trees so climbers could safely ease themselves down the opening, that was pretty sweet.       Woke up around doing 8 and had breakfast in the hotel...pretty good actually. Then we were off to Wakinsville first which is a tiny village about 15 min from Athens. It's not big b.ut after a few wrong turns we found the Elder Mill covered bridge outside the town.. It's a pretty area with rolling hills and large cattle/horse farms.
