Spent Thanksgiving here. On Thanksgiving day we ate a buffet at Western Sizzler with 18 workers etc. from the campground, then on saturday the campground provided turkeys and everyone brought covered dishes and we all ate at the clubhouse.

Today we had an early breakfast and off we drove towards Ellijay...except I took over the GPS and promptly got lost...around a town called Winder....drove around in a circle for awhile....we eventually we reached Amicalola Falls....it was a lovely day and the walk to the falls was pretty but not spectacular.....we also walked up to the lodge which is at the top ...

We get through a couple of shops and end with a stop in McD’s carpark to get the blog up to date (was the last really that long ago?) and completely by chance hook up with Reuben on Skype – all’s well back at the ranch.
