Stayed in campground #1, site 6. Quiet park. Gravel site backed up to nature trail. Not level. Picnic table and fire ring. 30amp and water. Bathrooms were clean but dated. ... a lake in the park. In fact, our cabin is on the water with pretty views. We got here just in time to see a bit of a sunset which was nice. No fireplace but have cable tv. Dinner was steak and cheese broccoli, yum! Tomorrow is about a four hour drive to St. Augustine, FL where we will spend the night and visit this historic city. ... look at the Heritage Farm, they have a blacksmith shop, tobacco barn and other buildings and some farm animals.
Tomorrow we move on to Crawfordville for 3 days and plan to be home on Monday. Our trip is really winding down and we are looking forward getting home.

We are back to the 4 campers that we began with. The others left on Saturday and Sunday morning. We decided to go into the town of Vidalia to see the movie Gravity. We ate dinner at Ruby Tuesday's which was directly in front of the theater. We walked to the theater and apparently looked like we were not locals. Maybe it was because we were all in shorts and flip flops.

... Friends of one of our camping buddies stopped by Saturday afternoon on their way home and joined us for dinner.
A trip out west is being planned for next April so the planners in our group have already started working out the farthest point and the route out. They just love to plan trips whether they are short or long.
