... it was a peaceful day. We are parked very close to the banks of a forest so it is quite pretty with the fall colors and the beaches just a few yards away. We saw a bobcat slinking through the woods this morning and then an eagle fished by our starboard side. Also a few small ducks and a heron hung out by the boat most of the day. ... I wish I was a little more familiar with ducks and such. I was able to identify the flock of pelicans we passed in Decatur. I had no idea they came this far from the coast line.
