Took a shower, jumped off fellow travelers with a dead battery, and drove. Gas in Independence, MO. Saw a police chase that ended in a crash. Looked it up online later and saw pictures. ... starting with Troop in 1937. On the way back to the highway, we found a dead coyote with a red ribbon strapped to a fence housing cattle. So we are assuming this is a scare tactic for other coyotes. Whatever the reason, we were amused.

... knew where it was and that it would be in Dallas tomorrow; so, at least it’s not really lost. Hopefully, it’ll make it to the house by the middle of next week.
