    ... a better hostel if I tried (thanks mum!), it's brand new, which means it's also pretty empty. I was given a free welcome cookie and shown to my room. Perfect. Well as perfect as a 6 bed dorm room gets. It's all clean and fresh. All the girls in the room were wicked and that night I was invited out to go to a bar for free food, drinks and a band...     ... it was hard to tell in the air conditioning. So we went downstairs to get a quick breakfast and go outside to test the temperature. I wasn't sure whether to wear shorts. But as soon as we stepped outside it was warm and very humid, so I knew my jeans were coming off. We tried to go out on the beach to eat our breakfast, but it cost money to sit in a chair. So we went back to a poolside bar and asked if we could sit there. The place was deserted, so they let us.

    It was a scorching start to our last day in Miami with the thermometer touching 91 degrees. A brief swim in Miami Beach then it was time to check out of our hotel, have lunch, then get a taxi to Miami Port. The Majesty of the Seas was docked waiting for our arrival.     ... passenger was helping with the boarding process. He asked people where they were sitting. Once they told him he took their carry-on bag, dashed to their seat and stuffed the bag overhead. Saturday we explored the area including the Art DEco Buildings, the Wolfsonian Museum, we hired bikes from the Miami equivalent of Boris Bikes to ride to the Holocaust Monument, the Botanical Gardens and generally to explore, but really a fairly quiet day.
