Went to the beach a few times - fantastic! Never-ending white sandy beach and warm aquamarine sea. Because it is May there are very few tourists so the beach was nice and quiet. Given that grim news, we travelled the 50 miles back to Key West and took in the sights of this fantastic little town. We eventually found a car park near the Hemmingway Mansion and spent most of the day in Duval Street lunching at Fogertys.
