It's 1252 am and Tricia and I are just crawling into bed. Today was my birthday and we had a great time visiting lucerne, Switzerland. We had an included dinner at a restaurant that was a little different. We started with cheese fondue- and not cheese whiz like I was hoping for, then got a pork?( we think) and mushroom dish as a main with ice-cream …

Our bus ride to Lucerne was incredible. The mountains ranges are strikingly tall, and capped with snow. The bodies of water were a shade of blue that I have never seen before, almost like a teal.

Basel is a nice place although not a lot happening, well at least that was my opinion. The whole of Switzerland, whether it's in the mountains or in the cities, is a pretty unique country. My other Swiss blogs have bought back amazing memories to my friends and family who have been there. And I am sure when people mention Switzerland, I will always remember the great time I spent with my brother there.

I am happy to have such a lovely family and friends over here... I will miss u all big times!

But I am thankful to have the opportunity to go abroad for one year and broaden my horizon. Life is too short to spend it just at one place. I love living life and I love travelling and the excitment of meeting new ...

... River so it was pretty easy to navigate. At one point during the tour I walked by my company’s Zurich office. I laughed a little, thought about how ironic it was that I hadn’t seen any other office buildings and the first one I see is my company. I finished the tour and luckily had enough time to walk around the market in the train station. I ended up buying a pretzel that was stuffed with salami. Although it cost me about $9, it was really good and well worth ...
