      The German train system is on strike until Monday. That is all BUT the ICE (intercity express) trains. So we did catch our 6:45 AM train from Brussels to Frankfurt. It was a little eerie to see all the trains parked. There were a few running but in most of the stations, like Koln and Bonn, we were the only train.

      We arrive in Frankfurt around 11:00 a.m. David gets instructions on and where to take the train into the city. As we ride along I noticed that the color of the leaves are now turning yellow and orange. The country side is just beautiful. The part of the city that we saw was mapped out like a

      ... pastries are heavenly, again PCD. The German folk consider Ice cream a suitable snack for any age at any time. Not even joking, there was a line up for 'Eis' at 4 pm.
