Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). Went out for tea at the campsite across the roads' restaurant and got soaked in a thunder storm. Looking forward to a busy day at Playmobile land tomorrow. All the signposts pointed to Weilburg in two or three directions so we drove round in circles for a while and came across this enhancing town just before we were about to give up. ... start, we explored Raunheim and then headed to Wiesbaden to meet up with Sasha. Sasha is stationed at Wiesbaden Air Force Base and we were able to get a look inside. It was such a great feeling to hand over our passports to smiling officers and get temporarly onto "US" soil. Sasha gave us a tour of his barracks, dorm, work and all the places to eat - it felt just like a university only definitely a little more intense.

... it spits out a receipt for me to be refunded. Likewise, at the soccer game, I paid for my plastic cup and was returned the euro once I returned it safe and sound. It's a good system, especially if they end up recycling!

So overall I'm really enjoying my work group, and work isn't that terrible.. It's not what I expected to be doing, but hey, it keeps me busy!
