After Trier, we had an easy time riding the train...then a boat down the the Mosel, then down the Rhine to Bacharach. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking, but we are still very relaxed, entertained, and loving the food and weather.

... 1 was so angry that he had a wall built between their castles so that he would not see or hear from him again. Time slowly marched on and brother #2's wife ran off with his best friend. The man was so distraught that he threw himself off of his castle wall to the rocks below. Sad ending to a sad story. Following the commentary, we went to the lounge where we were told how to make Rudesheimer Kaffee, coffee, brandy, sugar, whipped cream and dark chocolate...YUM?? Not for ...

... start, we explored Raunheim and then headed to Wiesbaden to meet up with Sasha. Sasha is stationed at Wiesbaden Air Force Base and we were able to get a look inside. It was such a great feeling to hand over our passports to smiling officers and get temporarly onto "US" soil. Sasha gave us a tour of his barracks, dorm, work and all the places to eat - it felt just like a university only definitely a little more intense.

... it spits out a receipt for me to be refunded. Likewise, at the soccer game, I paid for my plastic cup and was returned the euro once I returned it safe and sound. It's a good system, especially if they end up recycling!

So overall I'm really enjoying my work group, and work isn't that terrible.. It's not what I expected to be doing, but hey, it keeps me busy!
