Afterwards he dropped us off and we caught the train to GSL which is where Nadzha is studying. We couldn't figure out the train so Nadzha asked a girl who was lovely enough to purchase it for us. We then walked to GSL and Nadzha completed her test and fine to her first class. We've met a Brazilian girl Juliana who's ...

We also enjoyed day trips into Berlin, Rheinsberg and Gransee. ...

... it started to blow a gale – we were lucky to be close to the cathedral so were able to take refuge there along with some of the locals. We stayed there until the storm had passed.

When we emerged from the church, signs were misplaced all about the town – it must have been quite a ferocious storm. We could hear sirens all over the town – we soon saw that ...

... our hotel and checked in, however, the young lady does not speak a lot of English. We would soon learn that most people in this area speak German or Russian. Tourism is not a strong point of this town, however, they are now promoting this town as the regional "capital" of Uckermark. They do have a beautiful lake and are improving the town centre, renovating a lot of their old buildings and improving the streetscape. But if they want to ...
