After a late start, Rose and I walk to the centre of the Old Quarter to do our own tour of the Upper and Lower Town of Zagreb. Exhausting several hours walking around the city, we see many of the sights and scenes that Croatia's capital has to offer. The highlights of our stroll include: - Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary - St. Mark's Church - Stone Gate - Museum of Broken Relationships: This museum housed donated artefacts from failed partnerships, ranging ...

He hardly slept all night!! Sue lives very close to the centre of town in a beautiful ...

... but let's move on shall we.... So with a week of sun and sea behind us we boarded a bus for Zagreb. What should've been a 5hr trip took 8 hours. Why? Traffic? Bus broke down? We kept stopping due to Balkan Belly? Nope... we bloody crashed!!! Yep, straight up the ass of a Skoda Octavia on the highway. So the cops got involved... There was a lot of standing around and finally a few hours later we were on our way. We still don't know what the hold up was... ...

... Croatia & Scotland in Zagreb and there are heaps of Scots drinking in pubs and walking around in Croatian jerseys and kilts. The Scots have taken over a bar that overlooks the city square where lots of Croatian supporters have gathered. The two groups are singing, chanting & taunting each other hours before the start ...
