I talked to Gabe this afternoon and he said that he and Jay arrived safely. Gabe is scheduled to come back on the 27th...with the bachelor party he's going to and the home opener of the Eagles, I sure hope he comes back!!! Jay doesn't have a scheduled date to come back at this point, but I'm sure we'll see him here again...at least I hope so!

Day 6 - Old Placerville and the Gold Bug Mine
... site. We had heard a lot about stamp mills up to this point and even saw some replica models of these machines in action, but this was the real deal. We took a tour of the building and looked at the neat collection of gems and minerals also housed in the building before packing up and heading back on the road for Coloma.
