Only visited 3 wineries today. I'm done with that for a while! Scott Harvey winery was fun. Good wines and food. Liked to talk to Scott about his business. It really was a bittersweet time without mom. Missed her presence so. But I have to face these " first" times where I'm ...

Sorry I missed a day. Friday was quite the day of traveling around to various wineries. Ami and Jeff flew in early in the morning to Sacramento and then drove up to Plymouth to join Karen Tom and me for a day of touring various wineries. ... moment, Jackson, is a pleasant surprise. The National Hotel is beautiful, the children are also given a Ghosts Hunting kit as it seems there are ghosts in the building, they remained there since the old gold rush era. We find a couplw in our room... The hotel's steakhouse is extremely good, and we drink a delicious Californian Barbera from Cooper winery. Room is large and clean. We are in ...

... us in and under! Dave shouted out instructions to ensure we didn't crack open our heads on a rock. It was hard to believe but we unintentionally swam through a class four rapid. Even though it was a blur, in all that chaotic excitement, I was ear to ear smiling and loved every moment.
By the time we got back home, we were even more shattered than when we rolled out of the car that morning. Joy was back from L.A and seeing her was just like when we saw her in Italy months ...
