So we decided for our trip to XCARET a private bus for only two of us. And it was worth. It took only a little bit longer than one hour and it didn’t stop at any shopping areas. ... br> Slept in again this morning then caught a cab to Las Isla, the big shopping mall which is about 10 minutes taxi ride from the hotel. Taxis are set price 120 pesos each way. Walked around for about half an hour looking for a cheap pair of shorts, but it was mostly name brand and quite expensive. Finally ended up getting a pair at the mall closest to the hotel for about $8, as well as a stylised ceramic of the crucifixion which is quite nice.
