It was a smoking hot day so it was time to join the locals and cool off in the ocean. Too bad the water temperature was pushing 30 degrees.
There were two things we found in abundance here, iguanas and tourists. The iguanas turned out to be the friendlier of the two.

We came across a stall that sold discontinued coins that had been made into bracelets for only £1.50 - I had to get one. Looking at some of the used items for sale and the fact people buy them made me realise how poor these people are. The shoes and the clothes were so worn you wouldn't even find them like that in a second hand shop ...
First rule...look past the black object in the videos. I wasn't aware that my BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) was in the way for ALL of my footage. I posted what was decent enough, but sadly 90% had to be deleted. Tomorrow I have two more dives, and I promise to get better footage :) the first video is 5 minutes long, watch what you want, but it gives you a good idea of what it's like down there! Also the videos are in a lower quality than usual because I wanted to upload ...
We flew out of Melbourne at 10.30am Tuesday 2nd April and arrived in LA about 15 hours later...at 6.30am the same day?!? So after 15 hours of flying we had succeeded at going BACK in TIME! Who needs the DeLorean?
After a ridiculously long wait at customs in LA (about 2 hours) we got to our airport hotel (travelodge LAX). Our room wasn't ready yet as it was still only morning but they said to help ourselves to the free breakfast. Don't mind if we do! Hello American bagels ...
... re probably too old so we stayed in and watched TV eating ice-cream and drinking beer and hoped the young ones were not going to wake us up when they got back to the hotel!
