... the shop and knew what we were getting. We got an American favorite, Chex Mix.
The plane was small. Like, really really really small!! We were only just above the clouds and then the sunset began. It was amazing. Absolutely beautiful!
As we landed at Madison airport, I realized that there was a small layer of snow in the ground. It was freezing and that just made all of us happier.

... we played a fun bored game called Flip Out. We barely managed to keep our cards and holders on the table because we were going over a really bumpy road (as we were pretty much all day). The bumpy road wasn't the only reason the game was challenging... Mom and Maeve make a pretty intimidating team (yes they teamed up on me).

... that I couldn't go on. I was the only alternate that didn't get a spot. I was not a happy camper. I called dad and cried a little bit because this meant that I was going to have to wait until 9pm. There were buses that went to Madison, but I had already checked my luggage and didn't know when it would be getting to Madison.

So I waited for my plane at 9pm. They changed the gate about 4 different times and kept delaying it ...
