It is a very nice hotel. After being in a budget hotel for the last week, this was a welcome experience. The large Indy 500 mural on the outside of the building was nice.

Best hotel Ive stayed at, hands down. The service was beyond any expectations that you could imagine. The facilities are immaculate and very well kept. Nice, modern feel, and close to everything!

This morning was the first day of Council meetings for SPE. I was anticipating the end of the meeting. We were going to the speedway and the SPE has a suite on the pit side!!!! We were bussed out to the track and arrived a little before qualifying started. It had rained overnight and qualifying was an hour late. We had a buffet laid out when we …

Today the focus is on qualifying setup. Tomorrow starts the first of two days of qualifying. Since there are only 33 cars entered, everyone will be in the big race. However, no one wants to start last!! One of the stories going around is that the Chevy teams are sandbagging when it comes to speed. The Honda teams have been on top of the speed …

Drove 191 miles in 3.5 hours.

After the shena****ns of the previous night none of us had the right to feel as good as we did on Saturday morning. We awoke brightly to another day heading for the 100's and kept inside eating leftover pizza and drinking coffee with Charlie as he gave us the grand tour.

Randi came home from work at lunchtime with a ...

About this point in the tour, most of us are worn out, tired, and short tempered. We have been going strong for over thirty shows and are preparing to complete the tour stretch. Today started just like any other, except that it was raining again. the Amphitheater had a descent size stage, but seemed to have some roof issues as the ceiling was dripping on us in various locations.

We had a relatively smooth load in with minimal abrasion from the other departments. The ...
