... only time one is allowed to bare ones chest, but definitely not ones parts! Also forgot to mention that one is not allowed clothing that doesn't cover the knees. So that left me with my one pair of jeans. Having explained my issue to the lady silencer , she sold me a pair of fishermans trousers . Ahem. Problems arose with those on day 1. ... sand or leaves beneath your feet. Walking meditation would be followed by another 45minute session of sitting meditation and then it was time for lunch which was our final meal of the day. Monks only eat once a day, between the hours of after dawn and before noon, so we got that schedule as well. At least we got two meals out of the deal! ... about half an hour away. So Jamie drives us to the ferry office just 5 minutes away to book our ferry tickets for tomorrow. We've been told it's busy so I was a bit worried about getting them but we book on to the 11am ferry and they will collect is from our digs at 10am. ... patk. It is very clean and there are only 3 areas designated for people to stay over night. At least there was the foresight to designate this lovely area as a national park. The thai people/government is known to live in the today with little thought to the future and the impact of today's actions to that future.
