We landed in Cancun at 16:30, me in a bit of pain. From being sick my sinuses were blocked and the pressure in the plane caused my ears to block and become incredibly sore. Not much I could do about it. So I had to get over it, move forward and hope it would correct itself. So as unbalanced as I was, Kev guided me off the plane and through to customs we went. ... When you first arrive you get taken to your villa by luxury speedboat through the Mangroves. I feel like a princess as I step off the boat and onto the landing where my butler is waiting to explain the ins and outs of my over-water villa.
Which is massive.
Huge living area, outdoor deck with my own private plunge pool, a massive bathroom with a bath, indoor and outdoor shower, walk in wardrobe, huge king size bed.

... crustaceans and coral to see, and it was a real highlight to dive with turtles (tortugas) for the first time.

Day four, we took a bus ride to Tulum, where we wandered around the Mayan ruins, which are impressively, right on the Caribbean coast, walked along the beach and then took a collectivo (taxi bus) back to the comfort and free food and drink of our resort.

... better as the day wore on. Our tour guide warned us about the heat, but I didn't find it bad, though others were struggling. After the tour we went to a nearby restaurant for lunch. I was sat with a couple from Pittsburg. They were suffering in the heat and told me of how cold it's been back in Pittsburg.
