We woke up early as breakfast is at 8:30... Met some very nice people from N Carolina and S Caolina.....all 3 other couples have been here multiple times. We were greeted by the chef Kate, and started with fresh berries and cream, then a wonderful pecan covered French toast, then a fresh banana custard parfait...of course there was as much coffee and tea as we wanted. Just right amounts and quite delicious. We then explored the grounds....a nice pathway in the woods ...
After not seeing each other for 3 months, we decided it would be a good idea for our first activity to be a 2.5 hour road trip (each way) up to Asheville, NC. Two people. One Acura (Japanese Princess). No air conditioning. Roll out.
