We woke up early as breakfast is at 8:30... Met some very nice people from N Carolina and S Caolina.....all 3 other couples have been here multiple times. We were greeted by the chef Kate, and started with fresh berries and cream, then a wonderful pecan covered French toast, then a fresh banana custard parfait...of course there was as much coffee and tea as we wanted. Just right amounts and quite delicious. We then explored the grounds....a nice pathway in the woods ...

... and Western style (tomato based) sauces, seasoned French fries, cole slaw, and homemade pickles. Justin had the roasted vegetable salad with lemon pepper salmon. After that, we were ready to tour the house! Unfortunately, no photography was allowed. The thing that really amazed me is that so much had to be restored. The house was built in the 1890s, and within two generations, they couldn't keep it up and turned it into a museum. Just like Downton Abbey! Also interesting ...
