... top of the other, built in 13th century.All of the cathedrals we have seen have the story of Christ painted as past people couldn't read and could see the paintings and learn the bible.
It has got a bit cooler but we are in the mountains,we have the most beautiful view from our window from the mountain top town of Assisi over the valley.
We did manage to follow the State of Origin while on the coach there was quit a bit of friendly rivalry.

... sort of a question from the expectant way she (and the rest of the group) were looking at me. The jig was up, so I had to say 'sorry, but I really don't speak any Italian', which gave everyone a good laugh. She apologised and went back through the safety briefing in English, which included 'don't hang back to take photos as it is very easy to get lost'. The rest of the tour she explained a few bits and pieces in English to us, which was really nice of her.
