... line of cars with darkened windows was waiting to take DC and his retinue to wherever they were going and we were reduced to the ignominy of having to line up for a taxi.
What do you think about that, now! We didn't get his autograph. We got nothing except a very nice dinner and a lot of amusement. And I'm hoping you can enjoy the story too.

... over the city centre and had a tour of the house where Anne Frank and her family hid during the second world war. It was hard to believe that 8 people in total hid in the attic of the building, and had to be extra quiet in the day time when the warehouse workers below were working.
