... to Vientiane (Laos) and spending a week in this unique, but little-known country.
So curious to admire the mystical royal palaces and temples that tell the story of the rich Lao culture and heritage. A visit to the mysterious Plain of Jars will take us even further back in time to an archaeological site said to be 2000 years old.

... took us around the Bruges ring road directly to Camping Memling in the outskirts of the city just after midday. It's not the prettiest of sites we have ever stayed on but we were checked in in a friendly manner and issued with some helpful info for planning the next few days. Ok so not to get too depressed.. Some things I love here:

-Brugge-- just the whole city is beautiful. We went shopping there on Saturday and it was just a lovely day.. the look, the feel, all of it... I go to work there almost every day! That's crazy!

... be back in Brussels on Sunday September 23. My reservation printout says so in indisputable black and white. Go big or don't go at all, I guess. Now all that remains is filling those ninety days on U.S. soil with as much amazingness as possible. If planning that isn't as insanity-inducing as booking flights, I can't wait.
