Because of the time we spent wandering around shops we only got as far as Bologna before finding an overnight stop. There is still lots if snow in the parking place, ...

This morning Nathan's battle with the infamous Roman traffic started up again. We got away from the apartment at about 10am and missed most of the peak hour traffic so the trip out of the city was relatively smooth. It is great to see how patient the drivers in the cities of Europe seem to be. Double parking, parking on the footpath or on pedestrian crossings are accepted with no ...
