... up and down the steep 15 minute walk in the little town (where the car was parked) an extra time looking for it! By that time it was getting dark and stormy and we had to find our way to our next stop, Tarquinia.

... going on in my mind. This past weekend I had the beautiful opportunity to attend a silent retreat. Now normally I would not even consider attending a silent retreat, but having a weekend where I had my own room and bathroom and no one could talk to me and I didn't have to talk to anyone turned out to be very nice and beneficial to organizing my thoughts. Now first I had to get through my Art and Arch exam on Friday, but Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon I was silent ...

After he drove around ...

... experience. It was neat being able to understand some of the things being said. Receiving communion at the Vatican is not explainable, it put tears in my eyes. After the mass, Papa Francesco rode around the crowd and waved. We were so close! Everyone was just happy to get a glimpse of the pope and to see him wave with his famous smile. I bought a Rosary before hand and it was blessed during the mass. It is something I know I will keep and cherish forever. Today is a day I will not forget<3
