    This couple on the park bench in the main Piazza caught my eye.

    After a look at the 1500 year old wall surrounding the town, which for its age is in nice condition, and then we set of to visit the Cathedral. This was another pacemaker test run and I am happy to say I made it to the top with a couple of rests.

    ... thank goodness the B&B cancelled, as I'm not impressed, so am pleased I have complete freedom. I actually find out later this afternoon it's often referred to as Lake Trashimeno....hmm it really doesn't sound like my kind of place!!!

    Back at Cortona I head into the piazza, and sit with a gelato cone....bounty and chocolate hazelnut...and it's certainly very very good, although I have to admit I was a bit baffled I was given a mouse shaped cone!! Anyway I people ...
