... it is where the Pope visits to place flowers at the statue of the BVM in front of the Spanish Embassy. I’ll make my way in that direction later this afternoon as I would like to make it to evening prayers at the Les Fraternites Monestiques de Jerusalem. I’ll recount that visit on my next blog. ... I packed up and checked out; then Virginia, the innkeeper, gave me a ride to Lisa and Helena's. We figured out what train I will take to Florence later today, then went to say goodbye to Sylvia & Sergio -- again not done without a glass of wine, this time a French champagne! Saturday.... Let's pick more olives! Okay... I've had my fill of olive picking, and am happy to say today was it. We worked a neighbor's grove. Since English isn't her first language, she talks fairly slowly, which makes everything really easy to understand and note taking isn't too rushed.
