Our last evening in Rome was again spent in a local pizzeria. You just can't pass those up once you've had them and I'm not convinced that you could walk into any one and get a better pizza than anywhere in the US. This morning we awoke (early as always...4 am local for me and we enjoyed the Rome sunrise all by ourselves. A ...

Because both parents were still in Cortona, I had to spend the first two nights in the same room as the kids in case they needed anything. This led to two nights of being woken up by Millo crying and then spending a long time trying to get him back to sleep. I think the first night I got about two hours rest.

    ... good laugh).
After Millo had decided he had had enough, and after going up and down on a chair lift (fun, bar my lack of gloves. If we’d been on there any longer I would probably be minus three fingers by now) Millo and I went back to the hotel. And spent the rest of the day there. Just us two. It was…exhausting.
