      The Last Supper

A travel blog entry by megandlaurie on Apr 07, 2015

There was so much packing to do, as you can imagine, we have collected a few things along the way, Laurie made me dispense with a few things since I have had a little retail therapy! All is good though and we managed to squeeze everything in. Gea, our landlord, came around for a farewell drink, after she left we went into "Antica Enoteca" in via della Croce near the Spanish Steps for a pasta and a bottle of Nero d'Avola, yum, an early night, we have a big day ...

Yes, you know where to find us bright & early on July 6 :-) Drinks Water is ALWAYS from ...

... bought a clock and dad bought a doorbell that screws on to the outside of your house. Once we finished looking at all the shops we found somewhere for dinner. For dinner, Dad and I had lasagne, Shayna had vegetarian lasagne and Mum had a seafood risotto. It was really hard to order because we couldn't understand what the waiter was saying and he couldn't understand us. After dinner we walked back down the hill and went home.

      Keeping the insanity at bay

I've made a decision that, for the rest of my time here, I am going to try and draw something everyday. Today it was a street in Florence (which I'm pretty proud of, not going to lie). It's a plan I've made to try and keep the boredom and insanity at bay.
So anyway, the success of the day was almost compromised when Millo started off the day in a bad mood and said he wasn't going to go to school. Luckily Luca took him out to buy a new toy ...
