We moored stern to at the mouth of the northern marina and took the short walk around the harbor to the old town out on an oval peninsula with a church on top. We walked up to the church and bell tower which are situated at the highest ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia souter... voices seemingly at each other rather than to each other. Maybe we'll have a better nights sleep tomorrow night.... "What's that Squirrelly thing?" asked Mandy. "I think it's a squirrel Mandy" I replied. We'd never seen a squirrel so we took a photo. There pretty funny little critters and very busy. They never stop, up trees, down trees, collecting nuts, burying nuts, moving nuts. Nuts! They have more than just squirrels in Rovinj, they also have some radical ...
Rovinj, Croatia peteandmandy8th June 2006 I arrive in Pula at 6.30am, and now have to decide what to do - I have two days before I fly, so do I stay here , or a night in Rovinj, then my final night in Trieste before I fly out? After leaving my rucksack in left luggage, set out to explore Pula - The Coliseum is nice enough, if a bit surrounded by buildings, and, lets face it, Rome's is better, as is ...
